Our Story

Dr. Khan received his D.D.S. degree from The New York College of Dentistry in 1988, then completed a one year General Practice Residency in Dentistry at The Valley Medical Center of Fresno.

 

During his two year Residency in Anesthesiology at The Long Island Jewish Medical Center (LIJ), he served over two thousand patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures including peripheral nerve blocks, thoracic, vascular, abdominal, orthopedic, pediatric, obstetric, trauma, ambulatory, and neurosurgery procedures. In the second year of LIJ, he served as a senior resident, responsible for the 24 in-house and the on-call rotations.

 

In this capacity, he supervised and trained junior medical anesthesia residents.

 

Since entering into private practice, Dr. Khan's anesthesiology expertise and calm "bedside" manner has made him a mainstay with his dental colleagues and their patients.
